Making a Afghan with Daisies...

Crisp white linens, old fashioned florals, distressed furniture, airy and interesting with a timeless flair. And don't forget the glam with some crystals and silver. I chose a blue palet. Never have I had blue. I love nature, greens, browns, but love color as well. So this is a big change for me. Lighter blue on the wall with navy, white and a mauve purple for accents. Think Peacock feathers! Nickel silver finishes will replace the brass and I'm hoping to find some neat crystal accessories. All on a frugal, eco-friendly and DIY budget.

Our home was built in 1986, an adorable little cape cod at the very end of a culdesac, lots of trees and over an acre lot. Our street is off a county road and out of town a bit. I fell in love with the front porch that runs the whole front of the house. And the dormer windows upstairs, kinda reminded me of a log cabin layout but with out the logs, especially with the house painted a medium brown. But get this, it has green shingles on the roof. ha! I am not sure what to paint the outside yet. That will come later. It also has an unfinished enclosed gazebo off the deck. Needs some tlc and so much potential.
